With his ability to zoom in on the core of a case, Rick looks to quickly bring the matter to a close.

A quick study, Rick interprets issues, masters facts and presents compelling arguments to resolve business, commercial, construction, real estate and employment disputes. His tactical skills and professionalism in outmaneuvering opponents in the courtroom are highly valued by clients.

On behalf of owners, construction managers, contractors, architects and engineers, Rick has tried to verdict matters involving:

  • Business Dissolution
  • Civil Litigation
  • Employment
  • Construction Claims and Defects
  • Contracts
  • Eminent Domain
  • Non-competition
  • Performance and Payment Bonds
  • Zoning

Beyond the courtroom, Rick handles construction arbitration proceedings through the American Arbitration Association. He also negotiates and litigates the terms and meaning of AIA clauses, and provides counsel on OSHA inspections.

While serving as Mayor of the city of Pepper Pike, Ohio, Rick maintains an active law practice.
