With a Specialization in Residential Real Property Law, Kate has a thorough understanding of the intricacies involved in real estate, title matters, leasing and land use.

Kate is one of only 18 attorneys in Ohio Certified as a Specialist in Residential Real Property Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. She has extensive experience negotiating contracts for planned communities, commercial and industrial projects, retail centers, office buildings, hotels and resort properties, as well as subdivisions. Kate provides counsel and representation in land use, acquisition, management, and disposition for land developers, landowners, financial institutions, landlords/tenants, and businesses. She has both the transactional experience in real estate development and has litigated all aspects of real estate. She frequently writes and presents on real property issues, leasing, land installment contracts, title and escrow issues, foreclosure defense and its processes, probate matters and land sales.

Kate is very active in both the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Real Estate Section and the Ohio State Bar Association's Real Property Section. She is deeply committed to serving and mentoring newly-licensed attorneys through the Ohio Supreme Court's Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program.
